JohnChow.com: A review

In the few weeks that I've been operating this blog, I've learned a lot about what it takes to earn money blogging. One that thing I have learned is that there are a lot of bloggers out there trying to do the same thing, some with more success than others.

One of the leaders in this department is John Chow, who writes a popular blog helping his readers to make money online. He realizes the importance of building a network of links to your blog to increase visibility, PageRank, traffic, and the like, and offers a link from his successful site to any blogger who will produce a review of his blog.

As for his blog, what can I say that hasn't already been said? It is simply designed, with several ads and buttons, though these are mostly unobtrusive. A recent post on creating an e-book is an example of his characteristic thoroughness. Most posts outline ideas and programs in a step-by-step manner, leading readers through various money making opportunities.

His influence in the paid blogging community is pretty significant. For example, he recently posted his 77th batch of links to those blogs, like this one, that post a link to his site. At 10 links per batch, that is nearly 800 reviews of his site, which can only help his search engine scores.

John Chow has been earning money from blogging for a while, so it is worth keeping an eye on his site to see what he thinks is worthwhile.
